July of 2004 marked the point at which my life dramatically changed. That is the point where God truly revealed himself to me! I cried out to him in my hopelessness and despair and He answered my call beyond my imagination. I gave my life to Christ, my Lord and Savior that month, not really knowing what it meant to be a Christian. God picked me up dusted me off and wrapped me in His arms for that first month, then slowly led me on the journey in which I am on now. A journey that makes my heart overflow with love and joy! I have been soundly saved for about 1 1/2 years now. Saved from what? Saved from a life of sin; saved from the punishment of hell. Romans 3:23 says, "We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." I realized that I had sinned against a holy, pure, and just God. I realized that my sin had made him angry. No, I wasn't as bad as a LOT of people, but I began to understand that God didn't grade on a curve and that because of His holiness his standards are so much higher than ours. Jesus says in Luke 13:5, that “unless you repent you will perish.” (Luke 13:5) It says in Revelations 21:8 “All liars will have their place in the lake of fire.” In 1 Corinthians 6:9 it says, “Don’t be deceived. No thieves, drunkards, adulterers, greedy people will have their place in the Kingdom of Heaven.” I realized that my sins were leading me to hell and there was going to come a time when God would judge each person according to what they have done. But God made for us a way for our sins to be forgiven. It was then that the Gospel of Jesus Christ made sense. Jesus Christ ultimately paid the price for my sins. My sins had put Him there on the cross. It says in Isaiah that Jesus was "bruised for OUR iniquities." Jesus Christ died for ME! In 1 John 1:9 it says, “If we confess our sins to Him [God], He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” So I asked for God’s forgiveness and I turned away from all the stuff I knew was wrong. Jesus Christ cleaned out my heart and gave me a new heart with new desires. (Ezekial 18:4) He made in me a NEW creation. (Ephesians 2:10) I started reading my bible everyday and obeying what it says in it. Of course I am still not perfect, only forgiven! I am eternally grateful for what God has done, is doing, and will do in my life! I want to share this beautiful, wonderful gift of salvation with everyone I possibly can. So, let me ask you a question: “If you died tonight, are sure you’d go to heaven?”For God so loved the world, He gave his only Son, so that whoever believes in will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16Please, Please if you have any questions email me!! If there is a 1 in a million chance that what I am saying is true and there is going to come a time of judgement and if you are found guilty you will go to a place called hell; called a lake of fire and sulphur where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, you owe it to yourself to simply investigate the claims of the bible and find out for yourself. This is a mistake that will ultimately lead you to hell. The person who invented the eraser at the end of the pencil did so because he knows how much we make mistakes. This is a mistake that you do NOT want to be wrong about. Please, simply turn from your sin, ask for God’s forgiveness, and trust in Jesus Christ as your LORD and SAVIOR! 2Corinthians 6:2 says, “God is ready to help you right now.
