About Me

well now, where to begin? ah yes, my name is paul kirz jr and i am a musician. i will play any instrument for you, if you want me to. you name it, i can play it. my room overfloweth whit music paraphanelia so if you ever want to jam, i'm your man. besides being a musician i am many other things. i am a christian, a HEK, an athlete, a student, and a friend. most of the time i'm serious, but when i'm with friends, i'm messin around the whole time. i like to make people laugh and help people have a good time, but only in small, close knit groups because around people i don't know, i'm pretty shy. so if i don't know you, get to know me and we can start lettin the good times roll.

My Interests

i can be interested in anything that catches my eye. whether it be music or something in life. i'm interested in music, sports, listening to music, watching tv, making music, finding out how to train myself to sleep with a light on, thinking about music, uh.. war history, meeting new people, and hanging with friends (who play music too haha).

I'd like to meet:

i would like to meet...that wierd guy that's in all the tv comercials that you see nowadays. the people that do the voices for the simpsons and matt groening, the creator of the simpsons. someone rediculously famous so i can get an autograph and if it's a famous person who is a jerk in real life, i'd make a big deal about when i meet then and when they ask if i want an autograph i'll say, "HELL NO!!!!!!" and walk away. and this guy too. and these guys

Music:

I love music. i'll listen to anything if you catch me in the right setting, even country and yes, even techno, but that's very rare to see. most of the time i listen to alternative rock, but i love all genres of rock. i'm a huge fan of 60s rock and other decades that would be considered classic. i love jimi hendrix, the who, beach boys, the doors, eric clampton and my favorite band of all time the beatles. the music from that generation just can't be beat.i also like hip-hop/rap/r n b or whatever it is that black people listen to these days. sometimes when i listen to that kind of music, i like to step back and look at the culture that revolves around the music and just laugh. it's rediculous. among those bands and artists that i mentioned, i also like sherwood, this providence, daphne loves derby, the feeling, the almost, nirvana, kanye west, common, the beastie boys, the bravery, boys like girls, ac/dc, the red hot chili peppers, meg & dia, the sex pistols, the ramones, the clash, foo fighters, and white stripes just to name a few.

Movies:

i don't really like the whole ritual of going to the movies and watching it in the theatre. if you ask me, i'd say going to the movies and a waste of sleep hours. i think movies are a way for the government to brain wash us and re divert our thinking to whatever suits their liking or a way for advertiseing campains to put their advertiseing slogans subliminally in our minds (why do i have a sudden urge to smoke and join the navy, meh yvan eht nioj every one), but then again, i do like some cult classics (i don't noe what a cult classic is, but whatever) like napoleon dynamite, lord of the rings, forrest gump, saving private ryan, saints and soldiers, enemy at the gates, and blazing saddles. i watch mostly war movies because those are the ones with really cool subliminal messages, but i like comedys too.

Television:

sometimes, i watch alot of tv on the weekends (if i don't have anything to do), but i watch a wide variety of shows from the educatonal shows on the histor channel or the discovery channel, to the wierd shows on mtv and vh1, but basically i just watch watever is on.

Books:

now, that i have AP classes, i have to read a whole butt load of books, but i try to read a little bit more. i read alot of random facts books. i always buy books, but i never get to reading them, but one of these days i'm gonna read all the books that i never read... one day.

Heroes:

Jesus, my family, my friends, paul maccartney, john lennon, george harrison, ringo starr, ray manzarek, jimi hendrix, mikey leibovich, & VFWs.
