An active bassist in the UK, Nick Blacka has become increasingly busy in recent years. As the bassist for popular underground hip-hop artist Aim, Nick has toured and performed throughout the UK and Ireland playing at several of the UK's major festivals. He has performed at, amongst others: Glastonbury Festival on the Jazz World Stage, Live at Loch Lomond, Electric Picnic (Ireland), 02 Wireless Festival, The Big Chill and headlined the
main stage at London's Regents Park.
Nick is also a member of the innovative jazz group The Magic Hat Ensemble. The band's debut album 'This Conversation is Over' is available from www.jellymouldjazz.net.
