The great outdoors, my friends, filthy humor, all types of humor, actually, but filthy is the best... top shelf vodka tonics or dirty martinis and cheep beer, my pets (Blacula & Rat Boy), going places, good music, great shoes, necklaces, anything vintage, especially furniture, reading reading reading, painting random crap, random painted crap, thrift stores and hole in the wall antique shops, good food, board games...
Okay... so after attempting to be all open and friendly... I find that only odd random people want to add me as a friend... like those 'step on my nuts with high heels kinda' people... So, I only want to know the people I know... I never met anyone online, kinda creepy... but whatever... and if I drunkenly met you at a party, and squawked something about myspace, we could be friends. But I delete the boring people, so if you're adding me to increase the number of folks on your list... you suck.
Smashing Pumpkins, Arcade Fire, The Killers, Pete Yorn, Bob Marley, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani, the Smiths, Amy Winehouse, Beck, the Pretenders, the Postal Service, Interpol, Weezer, the Shins, Bloc Party, Cake, the Cure, Van Morrison, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, David Bowie, the Faint, the Foo Fighters, Patsy Cline, Etta James, Elvis, Incubus, Pat Benetar, Journey, Justin Timberlake, Murder City Devils, Modest Mouse, Outkast, Common, Radiohead, Sublime, the Talking Heads, Xiu Xiu, !!!, Uh... there's so much more!
I'll watch almost anything. I love John Waters movies, and Tim Burton movies, and Hayoa Myazki, and Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, and Pedro Almodovar films. I love Harry Potter too, and gimme Pixar.
The Food Network: Ace of Cakes, and Iron Chef, and Good Eats.
I love memoirs... especially Sedaris and Burroughs (typical, but whatever) and historical fiction, as long as it's not crappy. And I just discovered Tom Robbins, who I will be reading frequently for the next little while. I'm always down for a good book. But I really hate detective or crime or court drama books. And Dean Koontz is good while suntanning. I LOVE MY LIBRARY CARD!
Did you have to ask?Lest I forget!
