I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Name's Andrea. If you can't pronounce it the right way, don't even try. Just call me Andy or Dre. Love my family and of course my honey bear Jermaine. :) Always in pursuit of my goals, and nobody but God can move me or stop me.Get MySpace Layouts from nUCLEArcENTURy .COM OR create your own using MySpace profile editor !!!

My Interests

If it's not psychology and well-being or investing tools toward success, then it has to be JERMAINE. :) He's a handsome fella who's fearful of God, loyal to his friends, and loving to his girl, ME! :) Even though he's livin' it up in New York and 3000 miles away from me, he knows well there is a girl in California who loves him very much. Where'd I meet him? Two words: Endtime Restoration.

I'd like to meet:

THE ONE WHO MADE ME. AFTER HIM, THE REST IS GRAVY.

Music:

Basically anything with a good beat, and great lyrics---Guitar Instrumental, Spoken Word, Contemporary Christian, Christian Rock, Gospel (New School and Old Time), R&B, NeoSoul, Jazz (back in the day Ella Fitzgerald, Bille Holiday, Louis Armstrong jazz; not this modern soft serve smooth jazz stuff that's out)

Movies:

I HATE SCARY, SCI FI, and CHICK FLICKS. Will only watch if Jermaine is with me. But otherwise, I enjoy a good PSYCHO thriller or even an epic DRAMA. But for the most part, a good COMEDY will satisfy my hunger for laughter. :) Anything with a great plot is cool with me. Otherwise, I'll be snoring and passed out on the couch.

Television:

No more school therefore no more free cable. I've been television free for a few weeks now, and I'm feeling good about it. :)If it's something that catches my eye, then it's probably psychology related. For instance, "Monk" and his OCPD, "Mujer: Casos de la Vida Real" and their EDNOS, and of course the latest which is rather interesting and controversial at the same time, "Lo que Callamos las Mujeres" and their entire survey of issues in life.

Books:

I NEED to sell my books. I've read at least half of them. Raspberries to those who said I never read any of my books because I DO! :-P They're worth bundles and I'd like to get less on my shelf and more in my pocket. ;)

Heroes:

When it comes to heroes, there is none greater than my saviour. I'm a tough cookie to break, but the Lord knows my heart, and I am grateful he does. :)

Spring Break

For the past 4 years, Spring Break had a totally different meaning that it does now.  College students would drink until they passed out unconscious on bathroom floors.   They would pla...

New Years Resolution

It has come to my attention that my generation and that which follows me is apathetic towards life.  They, myself included, do not take charge of what's placed in front of them and do not seek so...

Life As I Know It

Before I graduated college, I had my heart set on teaching, but now that I have had a taste of the field, I regret to say it has its bitter sweet taste.  I love teaching kids, and counseling them...
