About Me

I'm an English teacher living in Seoul, South Korea. I dig photography, the outdoors, and interesting and honest people. What else can I say?

I've got this groovey web site, The Turning Gate , where you could learn so much more about my than I could ever fit into this box. I also have a Korean photoblog, Project Seoul . Please check them out.

And I'm the web master for Angie Hart (Frente/Splendid) and her musical exploits.

In general, I enjoy travel, music, guitar playing, reading, writing, hiking and a great many other things. I try to keep myself pretty busy, which is great until it exhausts me and I crash. Then I get up and do it again.

My Interests

Photography, web design, music, guitar, writing, reading, gaming, living and the outdoors.

On simplicity ...

Simplicity in human relationships is a myth, a hoax, an unrealistic hope that we cling to with the utmost foolishness. People are complex creatures who relate to each other in complex and often frustr...

The piano's been drinking (not me)

It's kind of funny how, just when you think you've got the world in your pocket, you reach in and find that your pocket is just a hole. That's funny-weird, not funny-ha-ha. I'm certainly no fan of com...
