I am a marketing consultant, based in Kingston upon Thames in Surrey. My company is called Fifty3 and majors in marketing, promotions and music management. Why Fifty3? Because I was born in '53 and set it up when I turned 53. So forever Fifty3!Nothing gives me more pleasure than unearthing good, original new music. I believe I can spot great talent - indeed in a parallel universe, I am already wealthier than Simon Cowell, have much better taste and a lower waistband. Having championed her for around 4 years, I am delighted that Kate Walsh is getting the recognition her unique, utterly magical talent deserves. I am chuffed to have discovered Ingrid Michaelson before most of America did. I am relieved that the wonderful SixNationState will soon be able to stop living in their van. I am especially proud to be involved with REVERE - quite simply the best band on the planet. A view which will surely be shared now that The Escape Artist is being delivered to a disbelieving public!I am passionate about music but this does not stop me playing bass in our lovely local band, PlanB. We had the name years before the similarly titled rapper turned up.I really enjoy Myspace because there is just so much great original music on it. I recommend you listen to all my friends now!!
