"Haunting, Dreary, Dark and Gloomy are words you could use in best describing the new Billy Gash Cd,DEAD FLOWERS".___________________________________________________
___ The latest cd offering from Billy is definately on the heavier side musically with no slow burners or love songs here. From start to finish, beginning with opener "Gods of Hate", Dead Flowers hammers home heavy on emotion, twisted vocals and well crafted songs. And while Billy may be surrendering himself lyrically on "Grain of Sand" with "take the knife to my wrist oh the pain isn't so bad" he's certainly willing and ready to bury the listener " six feet down below to the core" on Core with chilling vocal tones. Pain is the name of the game here folks and one can only wonder by closing track " Final Breath" if more pain is to come.__ If your tastes lie somewhere within the sounds and stylings of, oh say Alice in Chains, then you will find yourself pleasantly surprised and satisfied with Dead Flowers. Catchy enough and wanting more". A.S.
