ALICJA MONIATOWICZ.:ii:.Alicja has been singing since she can remember. She has been playing guitar for about five years and has also picked up the bass and piano. Her ability to play numerous instruments gives her a definite advantage above others as she is fully able to express herself and is independent. Alicja has been performing throughout the community ( G.M. Place, Terry Fox Theatre, The Inlet Theatre, The Marine Club, Port Coquitlam Recreational Center, Bogart’s, Port Coquitlam City Hall, Leigh Square, the PNE, and Castle Park) for a number of years now and has developed herself as an avid performer and is very dynamic on stage. On stage, her passion for music shines through. Her voice is one of a kind and stands out. Her strong voice and ability to sing in any style gives her an edge. Alicja has also received professional vocal and guitar training and participated in numerous choirs to further perfect her craft. On top of composing her own material, Alicja has finished her debut album which includes ten original tracks. Alicja understands that in order to stand out , have greater control over creativity, and be heard as a professional artist, that the knowledge of recording is key, and therefore, she is currently attending Hot Sole Music for audio engineering. Her musical influences range from Mariah Carey, Metallica, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, Nickleback, Queen, Daniel Bedingfield, Cold, to System of a Down.moving lines
