Joshua Alan Williams is a Twelve-Year-Old Traditional Country Music and Bluegrass Singer from Haverhill Massachusetts.Joshua has been singing and entertaining since he was five years old.
At the age of 10, Joshua decided to compete in the New Hampshire Country Music Associations Annual Talent Search. He won the title 2005 “Male Vocalist of The Year†in the Bluegrass category in the 7-12 age category. Josh then went on to win The Northeast Regional Showdown. This qualified him to compete in the North American Country Music Association International competition held in Pigeon Forge Tennessee . He went on to win the title N.A.C M.A.I. 2006 “Male Vocalist Of The Year†Bluegrass ages 7 to 12. In 2007, Josh entered and won both “Male Vocalist Of The Year†and “Male Entertainer Of The Year “Again at all 3 of the competitions.
He has been learning to play both guitar and mandolin!
This year after meeting several of his Bluegrass Heroes he has been greatly inspired and working up several tunes and songs for the upcoming year. He is putting together a band â€North Countryâ€. Josh is looking forward to performing at some of his favorite Bluegrass Festivals and other venues as well.
He really loves the “Story Songsâ€, “The ones that really make you feel somethingâ€. One of his new Favorites is titled “In God’s Hands†, written by Michael Carr “Lardo†from the Moron Brothers. If you haven’t heard it yet, this song says what Joshua calls “The Absolute Truthâ€.

Joshua performs songs from several of his favorite singers including George Jones, Dolly Parton, The Grascals, James King and many others!
Joshua is an avid outdoorsman who loves nature. He also holds a Junior Black Belt in Karate.
Joshua recorded his first full length CD titled "On My Way" with producer Marty Walsh. Marty has worked with the likes of Leann Rimes, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers and the late great John Denver. He has also worked on films and TV shows including Everybody Loves Raymond, An Officer And A Gentleman, The Simpsons, Without a Trace and King of Queens. Joshua will be actively pursuing his musical career by touring and making appearances throughout the coming months in support for this, and his new studio album, currently in the works.
