Chapter 1: Bombardment - "What About Me?"
by whataboutme
This extraordinary documentary series sees two visionary filmmakers Duncan Bridgeman and Jamie Catto, set off around the world to create the biggest global music jam in history. The journey across 50 locations also features interviews with some of the world’s leading actors and greatest thinkers of our day, and some of the most interesting unsung heroes they met along the way, weaving original musical collaborations with soul-searching conversations and stunning imagery.
This is a poignant, emotional and entertaining time capsule of humanity at its most inspirational. Covering universal topics such as God, Sex, Death and money this is a powerful statement of our collective insanity, and includes insightful contributions from Billy Connelly, Bob Geldof, Noam Chomsky, Stephen Fry, Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle and Susan Sarandon to name just a few. Artists such as Michael Stipe, Will Young, Carlos Santana, Maxi Jazz, Alanis Morissette and K D Lang among many others, contribute to create what becomes the musical soundtrack to each theme.
PAUL LEONARD-MORGAN - 'Filmtales'

BAFTA (British Academy of Film & Television) award winning composer Paul Leonard-Morgan has written music for numerous films and tv programmes. Fusing strings with electronica, his unique cinematic style has seen him much in demand both as a producer/arranger for artists and bands and as a tv/film soundtrack composer. He recently composed the new US Olympic anthem- “Amazing Awaits†and his soundtrack for the new $60 million campaign for Chevron can be heard accompanying the latest adverts.
Paul Leonard-Morgan’s debut album, FILMTALES, is a contemporary cinematic classic with scant regard for traditional genre confinements. A mixture of beautiful vocal and instrumental tracks that feature lush string arrangements, sultry vocals and infectious beats.
The album boasts collaborations with Steve Mason (Beta Band), Richard Colburn (Belle & Sebastian), Jenna (Un-cut, Shapeshifters) and Mercury Prize nominee Isobel Campbell.
Paul makes original music that fans of Massive Attack to Mozart will appreciate. Imagine a fusion of John Barry, the Go! Team and Portishead, and you might start to get an idea of this incredible album. It’s as refreshing as it is unpredictable, the juiciness of the compositions render this an addictive listen.
“Soaring strings, beats and industrial noises combine to create a sound that is reminiscent of Massive Attack’s at their most chilled.†- The Herald
“...This is an excellent release from a man who, if he continues to produce and compose to this level will no doubt pick up an oscar one day...†– pitchinvader
“...Fast becoming the composer that every film and tv producer in the land wants to score their next project...†– Music-news
“...Filmtales' is a dreamy work of vocal and instrumental tracks that feature brilliant string arrangements, haunting vocals and scintillating rhythms. A work of absolute class...†– toxic pete
“arrangements burnished with summery harmonies and silky strings†- Uncut
TOM MIDDLETON - Lifetracks

Lifetracks is the debut solo album from the endlessly inventive Tom Middleton. Almost a decade in the making, the album draws inspiration from Eno, Debussy and The Orb, but equally Tom's native Cornish landscape and the liberating experiences of travel. Emotional, melodic and inspirational, this is indeed a soundtrack for living.
Over the last 15 years Tom Middleton has earned an enviable reputation as a producer, composer, DJ, compiler and one of the most original minds to emerge from the dance revolution of the early 90s. His work as one half of the groundbreaking electronica groups Global Communication & Jedi Knights, as well as his in demand DJ sets are the stuff of legend among fans of electronic music as well as his fellow artists. This album is his most ambitious project to date.
Tom describes this very personal project by saying: "Eno, Vangelis and Tomita are big inspirations, but you'll pick up references to romantic impressionist and soundtrack composers; Ravel, Debussy, Satie, Vaughn Williams and Steve Reich to Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Thomas Newman, John Williams and Craig Armstrong for example. In the same breath I'd name check the likes of electronica producers The Boards Of Canada, early Aphex, Black Dog, Zero 7, Air, Massive Attack and The Orb. Additionally the music is fused with the melody and emotion of Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, U2, The Police and Prince. Classical, Electronica, Jazz and Pop, all clues to my musical personality and those apparent subconscious influences.
