Ed and I enjoy taking long rides in the early mornings on our '83 Harley Wide glide, but that is on hold now since it needs to be rebuilt(kinda like Ed) I enjoy going to Rock concerts, modern dance, all cirque performances and museum exhibits. I really enjoy hiking in the woods and along the Beach. I can sit along the shoreline for hours lost in contemplation. I especially love traveling to other countries and experiancing the diversity of cultures. Americans need to travel more. We tend to isolate ourselves from the realities of the rest of the world. Actually believing no one or no other place else has value! My favorite trip so far has been to Africa. I want to go back so badly. When I am home I enjoy gardening. There is something soothing to the soul when you have your hands in the earth and make living things grow and thrive. It must be that Virgo Earth Goddess part of me coming out! I also need to have water near me, either a lake, River or the Ocean. Like having BBQs in the Summer with friends. Have an affinity with Dragons, not sure why - love their power and beauty. My tattoos are about dragons. Great interest in politics and World issues, doesn't look like it's going to be a happy ending anytime soon. Mankind must get together and agree that the planet is in crisis mode. The heads have to be jerked out of the sand people, we really don't have much time left!!!!
This is a hard one, I would really like to Meet Senator Barack Obama, I was so impressed with him when he spoke at the Democratic Convention and have been following him ever since. I think that he could very well be the one presidential candidate in the near future that I could be truly excited about. Maya Angelou is another amazing person I would love to spend some time with. The Dalai Lama and Bono from U2 come to mind as well.a href="http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individ

Alternative/Southern Rock/Classic Rock/Heavy Metal both old and new, Pink Floyd, Allman Bros., Cream, Jimi, Steppenwolf, Stones, Godsmack, Metallica, Seether, Led Zeppelin, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Nickleback./Rap/Hip Hop/Reggae, Damian Marley, Bob Marley, 311, Tupac. Music is one of the most important thing in my life and I believe is part of the soul of all mankind.. Really love it all. Always keep the classics from the 60's and 70's close to my heart but I think the wonderfully varied music we are hearing now days to be extraordinary in their own right. The worst possible thing that we have allowed to happen is the music programs in schools being dropped. Hopefully we will all come to our senses soon. 5-29 Dick introduced me to Fall Out Boys last year, Liked them alot, good to see how far they have come. Just bought Wolfmother, Blue October, All American Rejects. 30 secs to Mars- some really good music goin' on. Niced to see it getting out of the rut it had been in in the late 90's. I've been listening alot to Hinder lately. Just discovered This new Band Dommin absolutely fantastic CD!!!!!!!! Everyone should hear this one. Linkin Park new CD is amazing. I'm obsessed. Arms Raised High gives me goose bumps a href="http://www.myspace.com/dommin"
pretty eclectic taste. unfortunately I don't go very often
All CSI's, NCIS, alot of Bravo shows, The girls next door, Queer eye/ extreme makeover (always makes me cry, hell even AT&T commercials used to make me cry)and of course desperate housewives! I actually read while watching TV. so alot of times I am not paying attention
Science Fiction/Fantasy -Lackey,McCaffrey, Hobbs,. Mysteries/Historical fiction. Horror. I enjoy reading books that are set in other times or cultures. Biographies and autobiographies always appeal. Actually I will read pretty much anything, I think books may be more important to me than music. Though I would hate to have to choose
My daughter is a hero to me. Actually both my kids have become wonderful adults. While my generation expanded our minds by dropping acid and following Carlos Castenada on amazing peyote trips, we continually talked about saving the world. This new generation is actually doing something about it. Working to develop drugs to cure disease in the poorest most soul crushing places on earth, helping to strengthen third world intrastructures in order to bring potable water and medicines to those living on the furthest reaches. Finding affordable/workable alternative energy to help us break the cycle of dependancy we enslave ourselves with. Amanda, Brian,Dick and their peers are amazing to me! They make me believe in the possibility of a better future for the earth and her denizens
