Thank YOU Sis' for finding this poem I wrote 7 years ago!!*SEASIDE*Gazing upon the sunset, the skyscape is streaked with hues of pastel as if some unseen being has with the deepest of emotion, painted the scene for those who live to gaze upon his works of beauty.Peering out across the water I see into the spirit of the ocean. I feel the life beneath it that is so strong yet so frail. The humans have failed to give their respect, causing imbalance, turbulence. If only they would remember the days of old, when they were one with the sea, the earth and air.I pull back from the thoughts that are engulfing me. Back to the sand between my toes.
The sun now slips away as if the weight of it is greater than the space that was once holding it.
