About Me

Layout by:
So a little about me....Most folks that know me would say that I am pretty laid back, level headed, a funny prankster, class clown type and stable. God and my family and guitars are the 3 things that really matter in life. (LOL @ the guitars comment). You probably think I am obsessed with guitars. Well you are right! Just know though that I would set fire to all of my guitars if I had to in order to help a friend or family member in need.I love spending time with all of my family and especially those darn cute little nieces and my one nephew. I am smitten by those kiddos.I have started back going to North Point Community Church. I was going to Browns Bridge Community Church since it opened, but decided the drive to NPCC wasn't bad at all so I started going back there. I just like something about NPCC better. I have been a part of that church for 7 or 8 years now. I just love the fact that I have a church that I can look forward to attending every Sunday. Plus I am totally happy to invite folks there.I am the Information Technology Manager (the IT guy) for a large Insurance agency in Duluth. It is exactly what I am supposed to be doing in life at this point. I love my job and the people I work with. I get to be the most popular guy in the office since everyone tries to get buddy-buddy with IT!! ;-) I love it though and work for an amazing company. I have been there for 3 years now.

My Interests

My gorgeous redhead ;-) !!!!

1975 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Completely Blackfaced

Fender Telecaster w/ Custom Pickguard by Guardian Customs
My Baruke Jubilee Custom- Completely Handmade. Here's a few other noise makers:

I'd like to meet:

I DO get to meet Jesus Christ one day!! I am looking forward to that! I would love to be able to meet too many people. Most of these people are folks that long since passed on. I'd give anything to have been a fly on the wall back when the Founding Fathers of the USA were meeting!!
There are hundreds of guitarists that I would LOVE to meet. A few on that list would include in no particular order: Jimmy Page, Brian Setzer, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Warren Haynes, Prince (--yeah the mofro can kill a guitar!), The Edge, The Rev Billy Gibbons, Eric Johnson, Joe Perry, Brad Paisley, Johnny Hiland, Chet Atkins (RIP), SRV (RIP), EVH, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Santana, Roy Buchanan, Taj Mahal, Joe Walsh, Ben Harper, Will Ray, Dick Dale, Doyle Dykes (--have met him, but would love to again), Junior Brown --(have met him too!), Derek Trucks , Lindsey Buckingham, Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer (-- as long as he's playin' the blues and not singing wimpy girl songs!), Henry Garza, All of the old original blues cats that unfortunately don't get the props they deserve. (RIP to you all).

Music:

My musical taste spans a vast repertoire. Being a musician I am by nature drawn to guitar driven music. I will listen to anything from twangy country "chickin' pickin'" to metal, classic rock, modern rock (alt rock), blues, jazz, soul, Motown, classical, etc, etc, etc, etc. The only rap I'll listen to is the original stuff and stuff from the late 80's up to the early 90's.My absolute favorites include: Led Zeppelin, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Funk, Soul Coldplay, Buck Owens,Brad Paisley, Prince (-- Like I said before, dude can really kill a guitar, so don't laugh). Classic rock is a must too.

Movies:

Tombstone is the greatest movie ever. I like many movies, but usually don't like the ones with your typical Hollywierdos in them. 300 kicks butt too!!!

Television:

Here's where I am a big nerd.... my favorite shows are news and political shows. I hate reality TV and most other similar shows. I like to watch all the nerdy animal shows and history shows as well!!
Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe rules as does Dog the Bounty Hunter. Cops is an all-time great too.

Books:

The Bible has influenced my life like nothing else. I have always been able to find the answers to the questions in life that perplex me. I am 1000% confident that I would not be the person I am without the influence of the Bible's teachings and principals. It really isn't just some old crusty book that loonies read. It has provided me with inspiration throughout every stage of my life thusfar.I am currently reading "The Glorious Cause"- "The American Revolution, 1763-1789"

Heroes:

JC, my parents(--They raised me. Nuff said), the founding fathers of these great United States, all of those who put on this country's uniform and serve in the armed forces Andy Stanley has been a huge influence in my life as well as the staff at Eagle Ranch....just to name a few.

I don't understand some Animal Rights groups....

I am making somewhat of a generalization here, but I think if you'll pay attention to some of the groups out there you might notice this to be true. My disclaimer is that I am a political novice. My id...
