About Me

Andrew Goodsight's MusicHead is a NYC based American rock band. The new CD will be released in early November and will be a mix of protest songs and pop music with a cover or two thrown into the mix. If all goes well, the CD will be released on the District Records label based in Washington, DC.Andrew Goodsight, perhaps best known for his long association with the Irish American band Black 47 as their bassist and back up singer has had a long history in the music world. As a producer and/or session player/side man he has worked with JEFF BUCKLEY (featured on the GRACE: THE LEGACY EDITION CD), BUSH (his guitar work on the MTV nominated song "Mouth" awarded him a gold record), BLACK EYED PEAS, MAZZY STARR, TRICKY AND MUGGS (from CYPRESS HILL), THE JIVE FIVE, and many others.Since his departure from Balck 47 in June of 2006 Andrew has been working with bands as a producer. THE CRAY AND DEMPSEY EXPIERIENCE and THE RUFFIANS are two Irish bands that have projects currently in production with Andrew. As well as producing, Andrew has been composing music for WCNY (public television). The rest of the band is inconsequential...it's all about Andrew...There, it's been said. For more information write an email...jeez
