About Me

I've been reveling the warm weather. Being able to head outside at any time of day in a t-shirt is where it's at. The last week alone Cole and I have been up to Horsetooth Rock (first time), up the Poudre Canyon, to Red Feather Lakes, exploring the Wyoming back-country, out to the Pawnee Grasslands to shoot some clays, walking around Old Town while strangers come up to scratch Cole's fuzzy ears.
...throw my camera on the passenger seat, Cole in the back, and hit the road Jack. No directions. No destination. Just seeing where the road of life leads to. You should try it. Just start driving, and when you think you’ve gone far enough, go a little further. The mystery of what’s around the next bend is usually enough to keep me going. The experience is sort of zen-like for me, but not in that cheesy spiritual way. The sense of freedom from the confines of schedule and destination—along with the exhilarating tingle of not knowing where you are (and not caring)—is fresh.

My Interests

Music, design, my dog, and photography are the biggest parts of me. Being outdoors and constantly learning are large tangents. Otherwise... becoming a better cook/grill master. ignoring the ridiculous media coverage about the '08 presidential candidates. wishing my phone would stop restarting itself when I send text messages. creativity. outdoors. sushi. being a coffee snob. peeing every 10 minutes after drinking said coffee. incessantly trying to find new music. being a dork at the bookstore and library. sketching out art for my next tattoo design. writing about culture, art, and events on my Dailies site. trying to squeeze the juice from a grapefruit without spilling it down my shirt. tennis. mountain biking with my fancy new ride. camping. hiking. avocados. I'm still running with the intent of finishing a marathon in late-summer, we'll see how that goes. exploring with no destination. I like to think I'm pretty good at pool. addicted to sushi.

I'd like to meet:

That's pretty much wide open at this point... ride bikes with, hike with, hit the dogpark, camp, photograph, play tennis, and explore with! Have your people contact my people.

For years, since the day of my last piece to be precise, I've wanted more ink. Not just anything. I pity the fool who walks into a parlor and picks a flash piece off the wall. Some flash is very cool,...
