Welcome! This is the home site of the Epsilon Tau chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity located at Fresno State University in Fresno, California. Kappa Sigma was founded in Bologna, Italy in the year 1400. The first and founding chapter of Kappa Sigma in the United States was instituted on December 10, 1869 at the University of Virginia; the Epsilon Tau chapter was founded in 1951. Since then, Kappa Sigma has been one of the leading fraternities at Fresno State. Kappa Sigmas believe wholeheartedly in the four pillars of our fraternity; Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship and Service and instill these characteristics in every one of our Brothers. Famous Kappa Sigma Alumni include Ted Turner, Bob Dole and Jimmy Buffett. Kappa Sigma is currently the most preferred fraternity in the world and is the fastest growing Fraternity in America.
