About Me
Hollerhead is a rock n roll band that is based out of Western Kentucky. In the past few years Hollerhead has grown into a band that combines elements of rock, folk, blues, alternative, pop, and country, while maintaining a unique sound and style that is rich in imagery, vocal harmonies, and powerful dynamics. Over the years Hollerhead has cultivated an interesting and sometimes unpredictable live performance that ranges from subtle angelic harmonies, personable lyrics, and powerful hooks, to screaming guitar riffs and explosive drum solos..….and everything in between. As a whole, Hollerhead tries to embody its live performances with energy, entertainment, variety, and musical integrity.In 2008 and 2009 Hollerhead was honored to be the opening act at the Hot August Blues Festival in Aurora, Kentucky. Also, for the second time in two years, they have been asked to be an intricate part of the infamous County Roots Revival in the historic and unforgettable Kenbar Lodge, in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. Even though they have played a few shows at the Basement in Nashville, and one at Al’s Bar in Lexington, Hollerhead typically stays close to home with gigs at The Big Apple Café, The Keg, and Vittello’s in Murray, and a handful of shows in the Lakes Area Tennessee, including Fat Daddy’s and Largo.In addition to the local live shows, you can hear Hollerhead on Friday nights on 106.7, WZZL’s Locals and Legends radio program. Hollerhead continues to play in around the Murray area, but is currently looking to expand its rock and roll boundaries…. so look for us in the Paducah, Nashville, Louisville and St. Louis areas soon. Hollerhead is also proud to have been a part of numerous fundraisers and charity events across the region including Feel the Love music benefit for Cassidy Thorn in Calvert City, benefit for house fire victims in Murray @ The Big Apple Café, and the Whose Your Daddy Rally and Poker Run at Fat Daddy’s Resort.Hollerhead is:Jeremy Marshall-lead vocals, rhythm guitar, roof doctor
