Dude. If you are at all familiar with the Final Fantasy series, I highly recommend The Dirge of Cerberus. I know, I know, it's not an RPG like the others ... but, it fills in a lot of the plot about Vincent's background and what makes him tick! Simply put, IT'S AWESOME!!! ><
So if you send me a message and I don't answer for a week or so (lol) it's 'cause I'm unlocking all the hidden features! yay!
BOOK RANT!
Finally! One of my favorite Manga series comes to a close! Please Save My Earth! (vol. 21) Oh. My. God. It was wonderful! Let me give ya a quick plot synopsis: First of all this is a story of reincarnation. (woot!) There are six teenagers and a seven year old who have reccuring dreams of the moon.
In these dreams they are seven scientists from a distant planet, stationed on the moon to study Earth.
On the moon base LOTS of stuff happens, but the one thing nobody can avoid is a deadly disease that breaks out on this Moon base. The scientists slowly die one by one leaving three, Shukaido, Mokuren and Shion. (can you say love triangle?) At this point, Shukaido finally finds a vaccine... but there is only enough for one person! o_o; Since he could not give it to himself (he already has the disease ><) he gives it to Shion, leaving him alone on the moon base for NINE YEARS!
(damn! I mean... wow! That's cold.) >:O So now Shion is back (as young Rin ~ seven year old) to get his revenge!!! (YES!)
Oh! One more thing! (um things haha ><) The Original Soundtrack is awesome! Great to listen to while reading the manga. ~Mooood Music~
And they have an PSME OVA out. 6 episodes long, so it only covers the first 11-12 books. It's always nice to see the characters come to life! There is a Korean/Japanese collectors edition which has additional features and movie clips! (ooo!) There are also 3 Drama CD's out there (which I haven't been able to get my hands on ... yet.) (blast! -_-) Last thing! (this is so exciting haha! ><) The creator has brought out a sequel to this series and it's being published even as I type! :D It's called "Boku wo Tsutsumu Tsuki no Hikari" meaning: "The Moonlight That Embraces Me." ~ I found one pic of this new series and posted it here. It's the couple with the kid! ~ so cute! <3 (I wonder how many people are gonna read all that... >.> Meh, I don't care! It was fun to write! haha) ^_~v
