2L’s, the latest up and coming Rap/Reggaeton superstar was born and raised inQueens, N.Y. Raised by both Colombian Parents, his Latin heritage heavilyaffected his upbringing. In the streets of New York, 2L’s learned the essence ofHip-Hop idolizing the greats such as 2Pac, Big Pun, Big L, Jay-z and manymore.

By staying close to his roots, 2L’s grew up listening to Latin icons such as,Joe Arroyo, Marc Anthony, and Hector Lavoe. Music was always 2L’s favorite wayto express his feelings towards anything. He started freestyle battling at theage of 12, and that’s when music took over. Hip-Hop being his choice of weapon,with sharp delivery and fierce competition, he found a way to stay out oftrouble and captivate strangers. No stranger to the spotlight, 2L’s then foundhimself rapping with his now producer Concept.

At the age of 15 they formed a group called Rhyme-n-Reason and set up variousshowcases throughout New York. But as his talent grew, 2L’s wanted to find waysto reinvent his style. With plenty of support from his team, he decided toinvolve himself in Reggaeton Music. Despite his evolvement, he always wanted tostay true to the roots of rap so he created his own genre of music called“Rapon”, a clever new style of music that combines Rap and Reggaetontogether.

With this style, not only does his delivery appeal immensely to thecommercial consumer, but he also provides words and music that appeal to theyoung Latin and urban crowds as well. Because of Rapon, he was able to switchthe market and become a multi-talented artist. 2L’s music relates to hispersonal past, relationships, and situations many people must go through togrow. With all of this said, you still can’t have a music artist without hissteady dosages of hits for the club. This past year he was able to expose histalent when taking a trip to Colombia. By doing this he was able to see how hisown people would embrace his music. And to his surprise they looked at him noless than a superstar. Not only was he able to familiarize himself with theculture and way of living in Colombia, he was also able to expose his music bydoing various shows throughout the country.

While in Colombia, radio DJ, DJ Bravo also spun numerous records from hislatest mixtape. Currently 2L’s released a mixtape titled “1 Contender” that issure to catch your attention. This mixtape consists of a mix of all stylesincluding remixes to hit records, club bangers, R&B, and traditional Reggaetonrecords. He is currently working on his debut album titled “El Nacimiento De UnaLeyenda” produced entirely by Concept, which includes the most complete array ofmusic coinciding with the translation of the album title, “The Birth of aLegend”. With so much more to accomplish, 2L’s is ready to control and conquer.Throughout the years he has grown as an artist because in this industry you mustbe able to reinvent yourself, and now he’s finally found a way to stay on top ofhis game.
