How I made my profile:
I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace profile editor .Hi, I'm the lead singer from the band Gildoza, go check out the site to see what were all about! I was brought up in a small village just outside of Perth, Scotland, where my mother owned the local pub - which was great!Lock-ins and jam sessions were always on the menue, and it attracted great talent and lots of exploration of music from every genre possible! ***********************************************************I taught myself the guitar from watching the old dears strum away night after night and began to develop my own sounds. It was really an exciting time for me growing up, where I could try out my songs and get involved with so many different types of musicians.************************************************** *********I enjoy experimenting with my voice and hold great value in classical training as it allows so much more to shine though - rhythmically, harmonically and structurally. At present I am enjoying the roller coster ride of being in a rock band, although I hate to categorise the music that comes out of Gildoza as it is always touching on so many styles and influences. We have been lucky enough to have played in some of the best venues in Edinburgh and are planning to dip our feet into other ponds so look out for us in your city!******************************************************* ****Being in a band does take up a lot of time and dedication, but each of us are always on the look out for wee solo projects. I know that I definitely like a challenge and am open to new experiences, be it playing my own acoustic sets or vocally working with other musicians.
