After Sunset [new video online]

After Sunset started in the year 2000. Five friends from the east of the Netherlands started a punkrockband called P-nude. As years went by, they improved theirselves and their music. After 3 years of playing punkrock, writing songs and doing shows with P-nude, they felt they had to do something else, something new. Punkrock wasn't the kind of music they all felt comfortable with anymore. That's when they decided to start a new band, with different music: After Sunset.
The music they play nowadays is influenced by a lot of different alternative music styles and bands. After Sunset describe their music to be a mix of emo, nu-metal and obviously their punkrock rock past still plays a part in their music. This all results in a characteristic stubborn sound of music. In 2006 they released their first demo/EP called "Looking Back has Never Felt Better...".
In 2007 the band competed in the Amsterdam Student Festival, they came out 2nd, which won them enough studiotime to record the second EP called "Home at Last". After Sunset is really stoked about these recordings, because they feel that this EP projects the experience of an After Sunset show way better than "Looking Back has Never Felt Better...". The songs are louder, more agressive and more energetic.
After Sunset keeps on improving their music and writing new songs for all of you to enjoy! So keep your eyes and ears open, and rock with After Sunset at one of their shows!
