I was born on February 12th 1981. In Regina Saskatchewan, Canada. I started playing guitar when I was 9. I wrote my first song when I was 13. It started out with the line " I am dead, I am cool, if I am then you're a fool." I have been on a musical journey ever since.
I came to Toronto when I was 24. I had no friends and no home. I met Steve Pulchalski (Deromantic) by chance and tossed him an early demo of All I know in early 2006. He helped me out by letting me open up for him a few times at Graffiti's in Kensington Market. He introduced me to his friend Trevor Weeks, who in turn, passed along my demo to Craig Norris of C.B.C radio 3 and The Kramdens. Craig Norris of C.B.C Radio 3 picked an early demo version of All I Know as his track of the day December 6th 2006. Colin Grewar of C.B.C. Radio 1 in Regina, Saskatchewan played an early demo version of Into the sun in July of 2007. I've worked with Micheal O'Connell (Culture Reject), and Carl Andre Petzelt (Twang Recordings) to record my first indie release All I Know. (Released December 20th 2007) In early 2008 I formed a band called Sols with Chris West and Lane Argue. We have since been rehearsing and getting gigs around the G.T.A. On August 7th 2008, Sols played a gig at the opera house and Sony/B.M.G was there and rewarded our set with 5 hours of recording time. www.supernova.com has also showed interest in us and we will be playing a few gigs with them over the next couple of months.
