A not so wise man said that if Def Leppard, Faith No More, Sweet and the Bronx could produce a Heroin Baby, put it in critical care and send it to reform school...then it would grow up to be Burn Disciple.
It all started with a song that broke up a band and an ego that fueled the flame...JasonL (Guitar) and George Rider (Bass) entered into a pact to awaken the slumbering rock leviathan known as excess and decadence.
Having played such SF/Bay Area venues as Slim's, The Catalyst, Cherry Bar (prev Cov. Wagon, now Annie's Social Club) and Bourbon St in Concord, Jason and George were no strangers to trappings of rock and roll. With a stream of sleepless nights and a bruised liver, the duo enlisted long time friends Nate Sloan (vocals), Julian Gray (Guitar) and Chuck Worthy of Black Moon Ritual (ex-Black Furies, ex-Swinging Utters) on drums to add to the debauchery..
With the guidance and irreverent discipline of Steve "Shiny Tits" Beacham (Producer/Head Change Studios, prev. Studio 880), the group honed it's craft and embarked down a road to late nights, bad habits and a hard on for rock n roll.
So after several psycho girlfriends, a name change, some arrests and a drummer or two, Burn Disciple begins....
