Who'in da hell left the gate open!

About Me

Thoughtful quote for all to let marinate within their psyche..."Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that must frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."~ Marianne WilliamsonRecently a wise man enlightened me to the meaning of the term "Spiritual Predator". This is a person that, by any means necessary, attempts to kill your spirit during a time when you are striving to accomplish something. He or she may be a relative or pose as a friend while lying in wait, just like a predator, for the right opportunity to strike. I think this term accurately describes individuals who tend to suffer from two of the seven deadly sins, Greed & Envy, commonly known as "playa haters". "Playas" and "playa haters" tend to get played in the end. With that said, "Do onto others as you will have them do onto you!"Greetings to all my beautiful black folk and those of you who are genuinely down with our cause. By no means am I a separatist angry black man, so I don`t want anyone to make that assumption based on my text; I just happened to write this at a time when I was exhausted with seeing all the forced ebonic speaking, BET watching white folks that feel as though they have to embrace the hip-hop culture in order to be accepted into a particular social circle! KEEP IT REAL & BE YO DAMN SELF...DO YOU, NOT ME!Initially, I didn`t want to use MYSPACE as a platform to address the shyt that I`m sure we are all aware of but I couldn`t resist!(clearing my throat, stepping on my soap box and adjusting the mic)Because I am a HETEROSEXUAL man, I am only speaking on my personal experiences, directly and indirectly, concerning women and the false pretenses by which some of them enter into relationships.I swear I`m non-violent :-) but I`m subject to trip the next female off the curb, scratching her knees, that claims to be a college graduate, nurse, manager etc. College graduate doesn`t include hair, beauty or nail school! A CNA is not a damn nurse! And just cause you are a shift manager at burger king doesn`t mean you hold a `managerial position` at a large corporation!--QUIT PLAYIN!I am very optimistic and willing to give anyone an opportunity as long as they are motivated, desirous of more than what they have and are willing to work hard to get it. Just let a brotha know what`s really good and save the surprises for my birthday.Much love to all of you intelligent, independent compassionate women who are bringing as much to the table as you are requiring! A shyt sandwich with cheese to all the frontin` females that are adding zeros to their salaries and unearned titles to their names; all in an effort to give us the illusion that you have somethin` going on!Last but not least... Will you all join me in my plight to persuade the publishers of Webster`s Dictionary to properly define the adjective "THYCK" so that we may all have a standard by which to categorize individuals who may or may not `fit` this description! :)I hope the above passage left a positive lasting impression on those that needed a mirror...yaw`ll still my sistahz. However, if you feel compelled to assume a defensive posture and respond to my commentary as a minimum wage advocate then Walmart has plenty of windex for your mirror.I wish I had the patience and computer know how to make this an exciting page but I don`t. Appreciate the simple things!
