Still a southern girl at heart - Love the simplicity of a small town but enjoy the culture of a big city, its art, architecture, foods and languages. The seasons - Fall (painted leaves, the smell of your neighbor's fireplace and chopped wood; football games at night - Winter (bare trees so you can see for miles; walking on a grey beach in a sweatshirt, looking for shells; basketball season) - Spring (March Madness - I'm a HUGE college basketball junkie; blooming azaelias, gardenias and dogwoods)- Summer (long days; knowing that Fall is right around the corner)Road trips - Driving on the back roads through small towns listening to your favorite tunes and trying to get from here to there, stopping for a cheerwine, pack of nabs and a bathroom break.Old friends - People you share a history with - that knew you way back when and still love you through everything - The opportunity to make memories with new 'old friends'.Music - doesn't matter the genre...anything that 'connects' and moves you at your core. I love everything from Big Band, Jazz, Rock, Classic C & W, Bluegrass to 70's Soul and everything between (before and after) I have a thing for bass and percussion and love when a band has more than one drummer and/or a horn section...good harmony.Dive bars and muscle cars - That great place that always makes you feel at home with your favorite beer on tap and the best juke box in the world - cars that were made with a purpose - to be loud and go fast and look pretty, like the one's we learned to drive on (73' Dodge Charger - thanks Bonnie Lunn)
