Hope

I am orignally from Oakland,CA. I lived in New Orleans (N'awlins) for 15 years until Hurricane Katrina Evicted me. I live in North Texas now. I am a business before pleasure kind of person. Most of the time I'm quiet and laided back, but often times I'm silly. I'm a little bit of a tomboy but very much a woman. I like people who are down to earth, honest, and direct. I like people who let you know where you stand and who don't play games. I like it when people look past themselves to see what they can do for others. I'm what New Orleanians call "good people yeah" I've believed for a while now that being someone that I like is very important. I have to be with myself every moment of my life, so I had better be someone that I like. I did good deeds whenever possible, because it made me feel good and because I realized that tommorrow I could be the one in need. I hoped that those that I'd done for would then do for me, but if they did'nt I had faith that God would bless me with what I needed. Being displaced by Hurricane Katrina showed me that I was right to believe.
