The Aaron House is a band located in Grayslake, Illinois founded by Mike Ballinger and Sam Gaytan. They came up with the idea together after much solo acoustic work by each of the boys. The name was born of a teacher the boys had in middle school who proved to be a great inspiration and supporter of their music.
Sick of all the local bands being either punk or hardcore, the boys pulled in Kevin Jones to play as their drummer and Zack Culk on bass to create a unique sound that proved to be the best of each member's potential.
After seven months or so, the band's drummer quit to find work and The Aaron House went through a rough patch trying to find a new one. Although within three months, they found Sean Bergstrom, a friend of Mike and Sam to play permanantly with the band. They have also recently replaced bassist Zack Culk with Nick Kolev due to personal reasons.
You can find The Aaron House playing local shows here and there, always writing new music and always growing and improving as a band.
