I have realized that my about me was more of a jumble of inspirational bits, and personal rambling, so I'm going to type up a new interlude. Something that does a slightly better job at personifying me.
I live my life one day at a time, for better, or worse. Things happen, and there is no reset button, you move on and make a better choice next time. I work through the tough times, enjoy the good ones, and love doing adrenaline inducing things.
I have realized that life is a series of choices, mistakes, and memories. I have found that the world is only what you decide it will be, the amount of work to get and/or stay there changes...but its never free. This next year, I plan on getting together most of the tools I will need to open my own shop. Gotta love workin with wood and metal.
Okay, had to add a couple quotes, they just fit here..."Theres a difference between driving fast and driving dangerous...Im fast, They're dangerous..." -Moonshine Highway
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
When Im in traffic trying to get somewhere, my motto is, Cop didnt see it, I didnt do it! Im gone! - George Carlin
You ever get pissed off sitting behind someone? So pissed off sitting behind them you forget where the fuck you were going? I just get so pissed off I start yelling, "Step on ALL the pedals, maybe one of them means GOOOO!" -George Carlin
There is a definite difference between driving fast, and driving wrecklessly. Anyone can drive wrecklessly, anyone can find the gas pedal, and put it through the floor, that is easy. To drive fast though, is an art. A dance. You must steer, hit the gas, brake, clutch, and shift gears all at the same time. If any one of those should be off by just a moment, youve just failed. Take a ride with me, or someone who KNOWS what they are doing behind the wheel, and you may start to understand. Note: This means that your average Joe Ricer with his FWD Civic trying to drag race, is more than likely the former of the two types.
Next, I understand what it means to work an honest day. Ive done it, enjoyed it, hated it, and then looked at my paycheck and loved it again. I know that there are more things to life than video games, my cars, or what I would rather be doing. I just dont care. I handle what needs to be done, and get on with it. Some say that I am naive for spending so much money on my car, others say that its pointless to put so much money into something that deteriorates so quickly. I say that life is short, do something you love to do, and stop worrying about those around you.
As for my personality, you'll have to get to know me to understand me, and even then, good luck to you sir. To give you a glimpse, I am spontaneous, random, entertaining, serious, hard working, dedicated, fun loving, adventurous, and when I work on something that will be displayed, I either do 100% or why else do it at all?
The best way to work on a car is to swear constantly when it doesnt comply, beat it with a hammer, and swear some more. If that doesnt work, apply heat, or get a bigger hammer. Itll work eventually.
