Cory Wallace is an amazing vocalist with an exceptional gift for writing songs that touch the heart and remind us what R & B was meant to sound like. Born in New Orleans, La, Cory began singing at the tender and impressionable age of nine years old. As with most great singers, Cory began in the church and continued to hone his skills through various affiliations with singing groups in the New Orleans area.In his short solo career, Cory has been a featured performer at the Goombay festival, the largest Caribbean fest in the U.S., has performed at the Hot 105 Oldies but Goodies family reunion with the likes of the Isley Bros., Tyrese, and the Ohio players, and has been on a promotional rampage at the nightclubs of South Florida. He is a regular at the events sponsored by local station Hot 105 and has opened for national acts such as Eric Benet, Dwele, Freddie Jackson, Silk, and Melissa Morgan to name a few. He is a special guest at numerous private events/ functions and has also given back to the community by speaking and performing at various AIDS awareness seminars.Armed with the good looks and charm of Denzel Washington, the soulful and melodic sound of a young Brian McKnight, and a million- dollar smile, Cory is ready to make the jump to the national level and become a household name.
