About Me

Wassup Myspace!? I'm Steven Ray Walker, A.K.A. DJ Stevo. I was born in Lorain, Ohio, where I currently live. I live near the lake on the west side, but I grew up in South Lorain and graduated from Southview. I'm half Puerto Rican and half German, making me Germa-Rican.
I have great ideas and big goals. I like to live life to the fullest and I live for TODAY. I have a huge heart. I've learned a lot of lessons in life and I've gotten stronger and wiser because of them. Karma is very important to me. "Treat others like you want to be treated" is my philosophy I live by.
"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
I'm very passionate about everything that I do. I consider myself very opinionated. I say what's on my mind and I'm not afraid to be brutally honest. I always keep it real and I won't have it any other way.
I'm also a quick witted, funny guy with a great sense of humor. Sometimes my sarcasm is misunderstood, but once you get to know me, you'll love it. I'm very outgoing and fun to be around. I can sometimes be the life of the party... OR the DJ.
I've been DJ'ing since I was 15. I started DJ'ing House Parties (remember them?) and DJ'ed my first wedding when I was 16. I am the CEO of "DJ Stevo Productions â„¢".
I DJ and host special events such as weddings, graduation parties, class reunions, school dances/proms, birthday parties, Quinceneras, steak-frys, special benefits, anniversaries, bachelorette parties, baby showers, funerals, etc.... You can also email at [email protected].
I am the Ring Announcer/DJ/MC for Superior Cage Fighting, LLC â„¢ - Lorain County's first Mixed Martial Arts Company that holds Ohio sanctioned caged fights. For details on SCF's next event: go to SuperiorCageFighting.net. I will also be writing for the website so stay tuned...
I am also a sports reporter for the Morning Journal and I write the College Insider - a weekly column that contains feature stories and updates on local athletes playing sports in college. You can check out some of my stories at www.morningjournal.com. or you can email me any sports ideas to my email: [email protected].
"
I am also a manager in Lorain Youth Baseballâ„¢. I started coaching for my step-sons' teams and just finished my 13th season as a manager. I have over 200 career wins as a manager. In 2007, I helped lead the Elks, to their first Cromwell Division Championship in over 20 years. The division win and 21-7 record was a huge accomplishment because we had only won five games the year before. This past summer, I managed First Federal, my first year in Class F and we didn't do so well. Our final record was 7-14. Better luck next year I hope. Next season will be my second year with FF and it will be a revamped roster with all my draft picks, instead of a inherited team.
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfil it.
Life is a sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

"There is a great difference between worry and concern. A worried person sees a problem, and a concerned person solves it."

"The mind determines what is possible. The heart surpasses it."

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

"A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him."

"A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done."

"My will shall shape the future. Whether I fail or succeed shall be no man's doing but my own. I am the force; I can clear any obstacle before me or I can be lost in the maze. My choice; my responsibility; win or lose, only I hold the key to my destiny."
