I am planning to Master in architecture, so that after a few years of experience, I would be able to help in designing schools that would be durable, energy efficient, ergonomically sound for the students and a bunch of other facilities that I hope to learn in due course of time.My dream is to get sufficient investment support to realize my projects in disadvantaged areas, perhaps first through pilot projects in different continents. I really am not for major donors giving money and then building something for local use. I believe the local people and even the kids as direct beneficiaries for the schools have to be partners in building such structures. Because it is the sense of ownership which would make a project both successful and valuable.These are only some of the issues which occupy my mind and I am more than eager to learn how others have walked this path and achieved their dreams.
