Come Home is a band from Nothern Greece.
Although the band was born in Thessaloniki the five members of Come Home are from small cities of Nothern Greece. Vocalist Yiannis Ioannidis, Bass Player Paris Fragkos and Pianist Yiouli Merantza come from Serres, Guitarist Kostas Exarhos is from Larissa and the Drumer Kostas Thomoglou Comes from Veroia.
The band came together in May 2007 when Paris got a call from a music competition called Soundwave saying that they have successfully proceeded to the next round of the competition and they where asked if they can write a song for the contest and also do some live shows. Immediate the answer was yes although until that time Come Home was a solo project of Paris Fragkos with guest appearances from Yannis doing vocals and stuff. So within a week and after unbelievable amount of luck Yiouli, Kostas and Kostas joined the band and after 5 rehearsals in a time period of three weeks Come Home performed their first live show at Ydrogeios in Thessaloniki for the Soundwave Festival.
When 5 people with different taste of Music come together in a band, what comes out of it can be described as a mixture of rock character, funky beats and pop culture! Come Home started in a Home Studio, recording in apartments with thin walls, bad acoustic treatment and computer oriented equipment! Now that the full lineup is set we are ready to explore new dimensions of music, record new tracks but our main goal is to perform as many live shows as possible, because as we all believe, performing live gives you the true connection with the audience and brings out real exchange of feelings!
