About Me

I am actually from a little country called the United States of America, which is probably known by hearing my voice. I have spent the Spring Semester in Leicester, England and travelling through other parts of Europe. There ain't no party like the Green Block Party. Digby Boys & Girls are wonderful. I like how the cleaning ladies call me "Luv" more than anyone else. Some of the things I miss most about the USA are Taco Bell, playing drums, the value of the American dollar, driving on the right side of the road, SPIN Magazine, the NBA playoffs, the start of baseball season, and of course, my family and friends. If you go to www.myspace.com/solarelectric, you can hear some of my band's demos.I am actually back in my little country of The United States of America. It is actually quite large, but little if you consider its World Cup showing thus far (the Czech Republic Massacre). Now that I am back in the USA, there are many things I miss about England in particular and Europe in general. Some of the things I miss most are Green Block gatherings, getting to go anywhere by age 18, going to cheese dance clubs but still hearing nearly one thousand people sing along to Oasis songs, pub life, the more relaxed pace of education, the ridicilous hype in NME, the accents and expressions, the North vs. South (England) debate, football meaning soccer, Indian food, the great music festivals they have in the summer, drum and bass times, the word "cheers" meaning so much, and of course, the lovely lads and ladies of Leicester Uni, Digby Hall and Green Block. I hope I get to meet them in the city someday.
