Sounds Like: It Sounds like you've been mugged by a circus clown. ..big up Purple PA for their phenominal gear and expertise in the form of the one they call Martin.I recieved this email:Dear Mr. UrbanizerGid Woods gave me your "Feed the Flames" disc recently. It was good.It had on it: Control, which sounded neurotic with the sinister throbbing triplet bass and speeding mice noises. I was worried for a bit but then a dancy beat with punchy bass and a tight snare kicked off. I like the spare breaks in it. The next one, "Feel my drums", seems to have the voice of a robotic pornographer, and groovy falling bass in a wide chorus. An unscientific poll of those present returned the verdict "very danceable". "You don't want to leave me like this" seems an apt pairing of nasal, whiny strings to the accompaniment of wasted american woman. My monkey said "Good rhythm with a snare / drum part, off-beat bass drum at intervals works well". The bit we liked best was when it really gets going 3 minutes into the song with descending doom bass. "Mentle" started and reminded me of Faith No More giving it some with a heavy church organ sound, like on "Epic". At this point a mad-juggernaut-doing-an-offroad-race drum break ram-raided my stereo with some growling low bass. This also caused a bit of a stomp. I like the slow break with the kicking bass drum sample. Thanks for a good evening! Cheers! Chris
