Gregoire

I've started by working as sound engineer at the age of 22. I was working in a venue called "le passage du Nord ouest". It was a small place just in front of the well-known club Le Palace, in Paris. There I'd work with many bands in many styles. At this time I was very involved in the rock Hard-core scene. I've started to turn with a lot of bands in this style. At first with French Bands: Prohibition, Helliogabale, then I've produced many LP with them. After this I've started to work with US Bands Like Fugazi, as live sound engineer. In 1992 I've discover the electronic sound in a rave with the incredible Jeff Mills at the turntable. So, I've sold my fender jazz-bass to buy my first TB 303. After many rave organisations, I've made my own band Called Kojak. We've made two albums and a real success with this band. We've toured all over the world, from Johannesburg to Hong Kong, with some long passage by England and Germany. I've produced many albums and EP for my own work but also for other artists, in labels like Pro-zak/Barclay, Nekko, or Prohibited Rec. Mostly for independent labels. Today I'm working as producer and music supervisor for a label called Schmooze/Premiere-heure. I'm in charge of the artistic supervision and of the production of music for movies and ad. I'm also involved in a new label called KusKus. This is my new factory for music production.
