About Me

"Ahh, but to know you would take a lifetime..."

Well I've been in the Dirrty Dirrty Souf for a half a year now, and I'm lovin it. Great-tings-a-gwan! It's a different flow than NY, but I can rock wit it. For real tho, I've been truly blessed since coming down here.

But why are most of the people in Atlanta, not from Atlanta?

My Interests

Cars, Computers, Creativity: Visual and Performing Arts

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people, I know that's generic, so I'll elaborate...

I'm a thrill-seeker, computer geek (Mac friendly), techno-junkie, and a socialite on occaision.

I'm not a baller, but I like to have a good time with good people, so: I club/lounge often, drink moderately.

Music:

Hip-hop, Neo-Soul (to unwind) Pop, R&B, Reggae (when inspired to "whine mah bodie")

Movies:

Action umm... and the other types too

Television:

I had one of these once, but I only used it for my PS2 and DVD collection... but on occasion I could be caught watching CSI Miami, Smallville, Boston Legal (I miss The Practice), and I absolutely loathe Reality TV cuz it's just getting ridiculous, but I respect the pioneers of the genre

Books:

It's a shame, that I don't read much unless it's commercial but most recently I read Dan Brown's other two books, Digital Fortress and Deception Point, since I enjoyed Angels and Demons and Da Vinci (read waaay before the movie)

Heroes:

Like Spiderman or my father? Well MLK, Jr's speeches always inspire me. My father is a real father and has always (and continues to be) the epitome of what I aspire to achieve. I have several mentors that refocus me when I stray, and friends that I celebrate daily who are all superhuman to me.Oh yea, and Apocalypse (who is villainized cuz he's black) for my real X-men followers.

My Blog

Lasting Impressions: What I should've said to you.

I saw a scene in a movie recently where a man's son dies unexpectedly. The man wasn't sad that he lost his son (because he died honorably), rather, he was distraught that he didn't have the opportunit...

Seize the day...

While talking to a friend recently, the popular phrase "Carpe Diem" came into discussion. The conversation helped me realize that for some the idea of living each day to it's full potential can be bot...
