A brief historical look at how "Evil Axis" has been delivering its high quality heavy metal goods...
Originally formed by experienced guitarrists Izzy Sin and Skylar Bane, who in 2006 creates an unbrekeable alliance,"Evil Axis", is an impressive band that fused the modern Rock with the riffs and speed of Heavy Metal, as well as adding a vicious two-lead guitar attack, demolishing drums and wild rythms.
In terms of sheer longevity and unfaltering dedication to its chosen high-precision art, "Evil Axis" is peerless in the Heavy Metal realm.
After a few months looking for the best musicians, the long time drummer Carlos MarÃn and his wife, the experienced bassist Betty Pink (both in El Ruido Maldito) joins the band forming the nucleus of "Evil Axis" which has remained intact until this very day.
The band starts to getting a truly dream team of unknown artists to get "Evil Axis" on top and maintain the main mission of the band wich is deliver good music for the people and entertain many metal maniacs.
"Evil Axis" has spent a good portion of the last years fighting tooth and nail to reach such of lofty position in the pecking order.
It was in September, 2008 when the band started the auditions for vocalist role.
After a lot of scary experiences, the band finally auditioned the man who will rise as lead singer of "Evil Axis", the Metal Monster, Ruben, the frontman from hell who gives the band the difference that are looking for.
Like most dedicated bands who are determined to make it, "Evil Axis" had to endure its fair share of hard times. Izzy Sin was only too quick to point this fact out when he talked about the band.
"We had it pretty rough for quite a while before we made our breakthrough" the guitarrist recalls. "I mean, sometimes we were lucky if we had enough money to put petrol in our van".
