About Me

Started punk band Castro in 1980 at age 14 and have been involved in various bands since then. Most of them were released on tape on his own tape labels CA Productions, Enjoy Entertainment and Mate Tapes.Castro soon renamed to Season's Greetings and influenced by Postcard released the tape The Sound of Young Gotland. After the band split up in 1986 Stefan formed Alfie who in 1987 released the single Play On.Stefan was also involved in acts like Control Addicts, Spencer Hill, M.O.M.S., Eucalypso etc.The last tape was released in 1992, but in 2005 he suddenly started a record label instead, releasing on-demand CD's. The main purpose was to release old recordings from the tape label, with himself and others, but so far it's been mostly other artists (including Monty The Moron - The Damned's keyboard player, and Serene Dominic ). The name of record label: Bendi Records .Stefan also maintain the Burt Bacharach database The Hitmaker Archive and used to maintain the Tot Taylor back catalogue.
