Mission: The purpose and vision behind Prose the Antidote is two fold: to provide a musical alternative to a searching generation using the infusion of the gospel message with hip hop music and to establish a connection with todays youth to bring about or restore relationship with Jesus Christ.A performer since the age of 16, Jeremias has always had a passion for music. He has shared the stage with such notable acts as Out of Eden and KJ52, as well as underground favs Manchild, LA Symphony, Othello and Braille. Just recently Jeremias had the honor of sharing the stage with Grammy nominated and Dove Award winning artist Kim Stratton as well as many well known speakers including Tim Storey, Blane Bartel and Casey Treat. Although his music has spanned audiences of all ages, Jeremias has an enthusiasm to reach the youth with a positive approach to life. Bearing the name Prose the Antidote, he has incorporated the idea of taking the common everyday style of writing and poetry (otherwise known as prose) and infusing it with hip hop to create a sound that is unlike many known artists to date. His unique blend of poetry and song bring to the table a sound that is uncommon, while delivering a positive message to the common listener. Formerly a youth director for his church, Jeremias left his position to pursue music full time. He has finished his album with production help from producer Substance, an artist who's already earned a performance resume that rivals even some of the most successful artists in music today. By age 29, Substance had already accomplished so much as he continues to bring music to another level. He has opened up for such notables as: Out of Eden, Donnie Mcklurkin, and Ben Tankard. He has also been a special guest on Lets Talk Church with host Dr. Bobby Jones. Together, this combined talent will bring a fresh new sound that will serve as an antidote to the common hip hop.
