I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

"There happens to be a lot about me that you don't know, Mister Smarty Man."
Some call me tuffstuff, and some call me bunny, and that pretty much covers it. I'd like to think I could kick your ass, and I'm almost as cute as this little fella:

Two things I love: chocolate covered Altoids and the sound of falling snow. Two things I hate: cigarette smoke and jam bands.
Internet quizzes don't lie:

You are Bettie Page
Girl next door with a wild streak
You're a famous beauty - with unique look
And the people who like you are cultish about it What Famous Pinup Are You?
I like books, a lot. There used to be a photo here of my bookshelves, but too many people mistook the empty water bottle in the foreground for a bong. I don't smoke. Anything.
I love utterly random, pleasant memories, especially when someone else remembers them too. For instance:

My Interests

Sarcasm, witty repartee, fleamarkets, crafting, driving, drinking, cooking and dining. Getting dirty. Being girly. Committing crimes of opportunity. Looking foxy and being nerdy all at once.

Create your own Friend Quiz here

I'd like to meet:

"If men knew what women laughed about, they would never have sex with us."
-Erica Jong
I have a crush on Stephen Colbert and I don't know why. Also most of the cast of CSI, but that's a little easier to explain.
I want a "KERMIT THE FORG" t-shirt.
I keep a Top 4 because it's easy to rotate and make theme fours. Look for such exciting motifs as "Men I Met On The Internet," "Bands I Actually Know In Person," "Pets on MySpace," and "People I Have Seen Naked."
Ok actually I got lazy and just picked 20 of you.

Music:

The Magnetic Fields, The Clash, The Cure, The Smiths, Death Cab, Sunny Day Real Estate, Led Zeppelin, Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell, Morphine, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Zero 7, Jane's Addiction, Massive Attack, Portishead, Sleater-Kinney, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, A Tribe Called Quest, and a very long list of other bands and artists that don't all sound exactly alike. I love Carole King... but I love Ludacris too. Go figure.

Movies:

Sunset Boulevard, Inherit the Wind, The Graduate, Singin' in the Rain, Barton Fink, American Beauty, The Thin Red Line, The Princess Bride, Better off Dead, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, anything with Cary Grant, and sure, Donnie Darko.

Television:

TCM, The Daily Show, Columbo, CSI

Books:

Book of Illusions, American Gods, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Bell Jar, Fear of Flying, The Little Prince, Fahrenheit 451, House of Leaves. I would SO have Neil Gaiman's babies, if someone else already hadn't.

Heroes:

Keith Alexander

Who I am today

Sometimes, I don't even recognize myself. There is so much I want to say, I don't think a MySpace blog really does it any justice at all. But I do need to get some of it out. Tomorrow marks the annive...

The Perils of Internet Dating

Or, how to lose a girl in ten emails (or less). Winter is a cold and lonely time, so I'm a little more lenient with the sorts of messages I reply to... at least at first I am. This is a mistake I will...

The Continuing Misadventures of Dog-Boy

Some days have themes. For example, this past Tuesday was "Scumbag Day" in Montgomery; every day in Carmel was "Asshole Day." Similarly, last night at the bar it was "Cavalcade of Jerkoffs." First I s...
