So about me, I am 18 years old. I am definately a gentleman and easy to get along with. I am a very cultured and open minded guy. I'm a Christian and I love my family. God is amazing and does a lot for me and really sets my path out in front of me. I absolutely love Electronic Music, all genres including House, Techno, Electro, Breakbeat, Progressive, Ambient, and Trance. I'm a senior and can't wait to graduate!! My plans after high school are to join the US Army as an 11B (Infantry). My BCT and AIT will be at Fort Benning, Georgia, so I will OSUT there and hopefully follow up to Airborne School while at Fort Benning. I want to get RIP in my contract and do my best for Ranger school. Good lord willing I will make it and won't have to get stuck in a conventional combat unit. (Nothing against conventional units because there is no way another Army can beat our conventional army, they have to attack us unconventionally, thats my job :). I don't want my career to stop there. I want to further my way into Special Operations and my role in unconventional warfare and hopefully come back to my heart and home, Fort Bragg, NC!! Home of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces!! After being in school for 13 years and being around all kinds of people, I learned quickly that teachers try to brainwash you as a kid into going to a 4 year college and that it will guarantee you a happy life with a good paying job. Sure, going to college can be a good thing, but using it as a delay source or time out card to think about what you wanna be when you grow up because your to immature to get a grasp on your own life is shameful. If you asked most of my peers (Keep in mind their in 12th grade also) what they wanted to do as soon as they graduated, about 90% of them would tell you they are going to a big 4 year college but still have no clue what they want in life. They continue to postpone their life and future and continue their immature little parties and end up not going to college and get stuck in some unclean and uncaring civilian job that gives them no benefits and is taking them nowhere in life. I don't want to keep rambling on about this, I just wish people were more mentally mature than they are. You are an American citizen, its time to start acting like one and have pride in yourself, care for your family, and pride for your country. They continue to use the excuse "ohh, I'm still a teenager, its ok for me to do drugs and get 2 girls pregnant because it will all work out in the end." Yeah, let them keep thinking that as I work my way up into a career field that I've known I've wanted since I was 12 and get free medical, dental, a place to live, and around professional and psychologically mature personnel that make this country the best in the world.
