Jondabomb

A Chance meeting in 1995 introduced Jonathan into the San Francisco rave culture. He began by helping with the Gathering parties and from there was introduced to many other collectives. He helped throw the Funky Tekno Tribe parties, Nexus, and various other underground one-offs. In 1996 he was given a record collection of over 100 crates of choice tunes to take care of while their owner was living in London. He was schooled on the classics and was hooked instantly. Jonathan threw a party in 1996 with his friend called Famtasia that had Tony, Rob Doten, John Howard, Boomerang Fidget and others rocking until 7am the next day in an underground SF location at 16th and harrison. Jonathan has dj'ed with many amazing artists and dj's including: Jeno, Tony, Daft Punk, Lady Miss Kier, and other local and international talent. His style of music spans many genres and eras, and he most likens himself to Dj Harvey who is known for his 8+ hour sets that include everything from rock and roll and hip hop to gospel. The highlight of his career was the djing at the last "Let Freedom Rave."
