Influenced by projects as Mortal Constraint, Placebo Effect, Polygon, Gridlock, dISHARMONY, Paracont, The Klinik and many others... in 2000, [me] Douglas got my first steps in alternative electronic music production using a computer and some software sequencers. Even so, during that time, my soul not found satisfaction enough to keep the project so far.
From 2003 to 2006, almost nothing was produced, only some experimental tracks I decided to not promote at all for personal reasons.
In the first half of 2007, after finishing the track called "VIOLENCE" and get good feedback, the following collaboration between DFORMED and BLOOD JEWEL [U.S.A.] had a spawn in the shape of a videoclip. At that same period I knew Leslie B., the frontman from Neural TransmissioN [BRAZIL], so a new collaboration time started with him feeding my own productions with lyrics and vocals. As a reaction, DFORMED reached another level with new tracks like: "UNTITLED", "CONSTRAINT FEELINGS", "A FINE DAY TO KILL" and " BLIND FAITH [Featuring Neural TransmissioN].
At that same time, DFORMED start to receive invites for remixing some tracks from projects like: DeadJump, A7IE, Stigmata NL and Prototype.
Nowadays [2008], another new track in collab with Leslie producing lyrics and vox is finished, "DISTURBIA" a track branded with a strong influence from the german duo, MORTAL CONSTRAINT, also getting good feedback from friends and others.
And still for 2008, DFORMED will be remixing some track for the future [not so far] debut Neural TransmissioN CD and also a track for Homicide Divison, while also will be working to produce a 6 tracks CD-R ..till the end of this very year.
