Bryan Hibler

I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old. I played in front of my first crowd at the age of 12 with friend Nathan Lucy for our peers. Throughout middle school and high school I played in a couple of bands playing talent shows and small gigs. After HS I put down my guitar for almost 3 years then joined up with Larry Salinas at the age of 20. My Life has never been the same from that point. Playing for Larry I learned many styles of playing and cut my teeth. Played gigs 3-5 days a week for 3years. Were from there I joined up with Zach Huckabee, a Texas singer/songwriter. After 4 months, I found my calling with a German band from Walburg, Texas. In 2005 I entered into the studio for the first time with this band and laid down a few good lead tracks on 2 country songs. We have played October festivals all over the US and all the major fest in Texas, yes.....The Wurstfest. In 2006 after the Wurstfest I joined up with a Texas Rock band, Barnhill. Barnhill consisted of Stacey Barnhill, a Marble Falls native that I had ties to. We recorded in February 2007 their new CD. I was in the studio every day for 7 days fixing gear, compiling songs and laughing it up. This was one of the most memorable times of my life. The ROCKSTAR life. That was ended when the road dates set in after our CD and being signed by Texas' 1 booking agent, Mustang. I then went back to freelancing and have been doing it steady since April. In mid summer 2007, I made my first major step in the music industry and started my own band. The Bryan Hibler Band, haha, funny! The gigs were booked before the band was put together, Thanx to Danny Biggs, a great friend! I started with a nice lil bi-weekly gig playing blues and instrumentals and yes I was singing. After 2 months I had a nice following and played a few opening gigs for Barnhill and playing places in the Texas hillcountry. I let that be and joined back up with the Walburg Boys for some festival fun. Around fall of 2007, my uncle started his own band. JR Wills and The Hired Guns. On Steal guitar-Burt Rivera, a legendary steal player. My grandfather joined us and we have 3 generations of my family in one band. My first time to sit back and really play Country & Western Swing behind some very talented musicians. It's now 2008 and time for new things.
