My name is Tamara I was named after my grandma; only to find out it wasn't really her name in the first place. But that's ok, cause I still rock. I went to college for just a few quarters because it just wasn't me. However I did go back and get my nail tech license, so I officially have an AA in something. I am 27 years old and married to a fantastic human being. His name is Leo and he's in the US Navy, on submarines. And recently the Navy thought we'd like to live in Guam. So, we got here on the 19th of September, and I'm always looking for new friends! We don't have any children, nor do we have any plans to any time in the near future. We do however have 2 animals, cats, Sunshine and Stardust, they are strange but they're my babies. I used to own and breed sugar gliders, but since we moved to Guam I had to sell them cause you can't take exotics onto the island.
I own my own business(es). I've owned several in the past but this first one has always been my passion. My first business is called Emotional Baggage, and I've been working on it for about 7 years now. I make purses and accessories and I have a lot of fun doing what I do. My second business is called The Unbirthday Card Company. I sell cards for every occasion except birthdays! I just got so tired of going into Hallmark and seeing nothing but Birthday cards. All of the cards on my site are hand made, not by me but by fantastic artists. Everyone likes to get "real" mail, so stop by my site and check it out!
Life is too short to worry about what people think of you. And, anyone that has known me since high school (or longer) can certainly attest to the fact that I stick strongly behind that belief. I'm a very happy and nice person, I like everyone equally until you give me a reason not to. I am a very firm believer in the fact that you can't get any respect until you give it, as such you'll always receive respect from me until you prove to me that you don't deserve it.
I am proud of the fact that my husband is in the Navy, however I don't allow it to run my life. That being said; I don't appreciate anyone who feels they need to put down, demean and belittle military members (of any branch) and or their wives. I'm very happily married and NOT looking for love any more, I've found it. We've recently hit our 6th year of marriage and our 8th year together; and I'm looking forward to many more.
