About Me

MY name is Ricky Crothers aka sticky. i am 23 years old, about to be 24 on july, 13th. Right know i am in Afghanistan on a 2nd tour, with the best division in the army, the 82nd airborne (yeah right). There is no way to sum up my life quickly. i grew up all around the world and finally settled down in a small town of Mascoutah, Illinois. i stayed in trouble and lived life on the edge. i made it to college on a soccer scholarship, but again i got into trouble. i joined the army to be a paratrooper and have plans of becoming a ranger when i get back. i married nikki feb 17th, 2005. she is the only reason why i made it this far. and i am most greatful to have her in my life. after that on May 12th, 2005, my son TY was born. He is my pride and joy. he is my world. i fight and sacrafice everything in his name. God has granted me the ability to fight in his name and everyday i do this. i am the elite. MyHotComments .. I wrote this to inspire others, to remind them that their brothers, fathers. mothers, sisters and friends fight a pointless war for them. To protect them and ensure freedom, so that their seed may live a full and happy life. dont take life or love for granted, it can be TAKEN from u. enjoy life and company to the fullest. if u have a dream follow it and never give up. too many soldiers have givin their lives for u to be just sitting around bitching about how life is shitty and they suffer so much. when u watch ur brothers in arms die and leave this earth, life it self changes, but keeps moving. how do u deal with this grief? i dont know, but only to say keep fighting, keep pushing, keep soldiering on. so others may be protected, so ohers my live in paradise. the average american has no real idea about proverty. see a 3rd world country and u will notice that ur life is great and u have way more than what is needed. i write all this to say i have almost died or should be died on several occassions. i cant imagine not raising or being there for my son, being a father is all i want at this point in my life. but i am here still after 15 months fighting, ready to kill and give my life for another soldier or americans.
