ZUZ ROCK is a up and coming young artist in the uk scene. The younger sibling of former uk dancehall star GLAMMA KID has been working hard since his brothers departure from the game.Zuz started freestyling rap lyrics on a garage track with his long time friend from primary school( REY MYSTERIO GUYVER) who at the time was spear-heading a well known crew called DOUBLE 0 SQUAD and had his own set on a station based in north london called heat fm. After numerous freestyle sessions Rey mg decided to put Zuz in his crew with fellow members( BADMIND KID, ANGEL FERNANDEZ,& LIBERTY) and allowed him to attend there radio sets. they were also doing work with a well known producer named norris the boss windross at the time but zuz being wet behind the ears was told by norris that he wasnt good enough but guyver insisted zuz stay up all night and work on it untill it was right. Zuz rock went on to do a couple live shows but really got noticed from the radio set they regularly done. After a period of time Zuz began to branch off, whilst still being a part of double 0 squad. he began recording with his old friend FROST P at a studio in cambridge heath( east london. ) which was owned by a producer named Gabriel olegavich. They put together a track called "WE SPRAY" which was the 1st release under a independent label called casual records. the 2nd release was called "THE BATTLE" which again featured zuz and frost but also featured a then unknown LADY SHYSTIE AND LADY SOVEREIGN.The battle track done twice as good as we spray getting good press with reviews in (JOCKEY SLUT, RWD MAG,TOUCH e.t.c) He also did live performances in a club in shoreditch called CARGO and did interviews for both radio 1 and radio 1xtra.Although the money wasnt bad ,zuz rock choose to return to the underground garage scene and parted from casual records. Zuz began doing radio with double 0 squad again and recorded a couple dubplates,1 of which was under dice recordings ( another independent label.)The track was called "FOGGY" and was produced by P JAM. The track featured zuz and guyver and got regular spins on dj cameos 1xtra show.Months went on and zuz didnt find radio as appealling as he used to so he started working with old friends ( PHINX & JOOG MAHICO). 2 producers from a production company called STAYTWISS PRODUCTION. He featured on there mixtape " FOOD 2 DA BRAIN" and formed a musical bond with staytwiss productions which lead to the making of ENEMY OF THE ESTATE. A mixtape that was put together by zuz and staytwiss. it did very well on the underground circuit but never got alot of recognition due to its strong street element. Off of the street success of the mixtape, zuz got to work with some known artist from the uk,He also got together with mcs (GENUINE GENUIS GEE, MR GULLY & REY MYSTERIO GUYVER,) to make a crew called CORNER BROTHERS, a collective of rappers and grime artist who put out mixtapes with the help of staytwiss. he has currently finished his second mixtape (ENEMY OF THE ESTATE 2) which is a total different side to the artist zuz was on the previous mixtape, spitting contreversal rhymes and touching political and street politics. Over all ZUZ ROCK is a hard working artist with alot of talent.His fast flow and sharp delivery will definetly assure him a place in the scene and maybe guarentee him the success of his older brother. written by lee sole.
