In an industry saturated by new and upcoming artists it takes exceptional skills and someone with that extra edge to stand out from the rest. Lauren Crane is clearly in the class with the best of them! Her music oozes quality with first class writing all the way, and with the ability to captivate her audience and hold them, she delivers a welcoming fresh RnB sound to the world. Born May 6 1983, and raised in Stoke-On-Trent, England, Lauren enjoyed singing and performing from an early age. But it wasnt until at age 15 after enduring a troubled childhood, as she describes it, music saved her life. Laurens musical influences include, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and the Commodores to name a few, and most recently Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys, and R Kelly. Lauren went on to persue her career in the music industry enrolling at Reading college where she studied Music Technology and Performing Arts. Laurens first recording Nothing Lasts Forever was written by her and produced by Elite Productions and recorded at Planet Studios in Stoke-On-Trent. The song allowed Lauren to perform at local shows including Stoke-On-Trent Carnival.Lauren moved to Reading and began recordings with David The General Ashby, co-founder /producer of HotAsh Entertainment and began working on new tracks for her up and coming performance at the Womad Festival. Lauren wrote and recorded three tracks for the festival, Girl Like Me featuring Deadly Hunter, Come Closer and Dont Want you Boy both featuring New York rapper Shyste and were recorded at Keynote Studios, Reading. The show was a success and Lauren went on the perform at the The Spot, Covent Garden and The Spitz Bar in Shoreditch where she collaborated with London steppers group G Phi Groove. Lauren now resides in London where she is signed to Hot Ash Entertainment and is hard at work on her debut album. Her first release is the much anticipated smash single Like We featuring Lyrical Karnage also from the Hot Ash label. Get ready for the unstoppable, irresistible Lauren Crane.
