Creating A Legacy of No Limits!!!
Van Lin & the Company is quickly becoming a top Management and Event Planning organization. Van Lin was the brain child of its Chief Executive Officer Darnell E. Nolin who; at the time of Van Lin's conception, was working in the gospel music industry in a number of administration, management, and planning roles. The grandson of a prominent Chicago business owner the late Estes Evans Sr. and the nephew of Gospel Great Pastor Clay Evans, Darnell’s upbringing were in an environment with strong industry and entrepreneurial influences. With his experiences and knowledge of the industry and connections placed him among the well known locally and abroad. His true desire was to assist new artist with establishing a presence within the industry, and to prove that on every level quality and excellence is possible. With this desire he mentored new comers and later was approached to consider management. Accepting the challenge, Van Lin & the Company was birthed.
Mr. Nolin later met his creative equal - Hosanna Morris Smith, Event and Convention Planner, and in doing so, the Van Lin family began to grow. Assisting with her talents with Van Lin’s contracted recording sessions, concerts, photo sessions and the basic management of current clients the decision was made to join Van Lin in a partnership role. Her keen eye for detail, knowledge of contracts and extraordinary creative mind became a great asset to the vision of Van Lin .
As time went on the Company was established representing the resources that make an awesome team and staff who works independently, but has partnered with Van Lin to bring the best quality services and products possible to its clients. With the partnerships that have been established, Van Lin & the Company was birthed and creating no limit experiences!
Today, Van Lin & the Company’s Management Division oversees recording artists and solely responsible for: booking, public relations, promotions and career development. The Creative Division is busy creating “No Limit Events†it caters to various clients planning faith based and social receptions, weddings, conferences, corporate and social banquets, conventions and many more. Van Lin & the Company has been afforded opportunity to work with such people and events such as: Appointed By God, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kim Burrell, Pastor & First Lady W. James Campbell, DeNetria Champ, Rev. Dr. Clay Evans & The African American Religious Connection, Pharis Evans Jr. & Charisma Music Group, Excelsior, Percy Gray & Joshua’s Troop, Pastor Christopher Harris Sr. & The Bright Star Church of God In Christ Bronzeville Family Festival (Attendance 4,500 +), Pastor Charles Jenkins & Word Power Ministries, Rosalind Sanders Jones, Kenny Lewis & One Voice, Pastor Marvin L. Wiley & The Rock of Ages Baptist Church Music On Madison (Attendance 3,000 +), and many more.
